What is a Microschool?
A microschool is a modern, student-centered learning environment designed to provide a highly personalized and engaging educational experience. With intentionally small class sizes, microschools foster strong relationships between students and teachers, allowing for individualized instruction tailored to each learner’s strengths, interests, and pace.
In our microschool, the curriculum is flexible and customized, emphasizing project-based and inquiry-driven learning. Students actively explore real-world questions, collaborate on meaningful projects, and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills rather than simply memorizing information. This approach encourages curiosity, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the material.
Guided by certified and experienced teachers, our academy maintains high academic standards while offering the adaptability of a more personalized setting. Our educators serve not only as instructors but also as mentors, supporting each student’s academic growth and personal development.
Ms. Kirstin Faughn

Kirstin Faughn is a Florida-certified teacher with over 20 years of classroom experience. She believes that learning is a lifelong journey and is deeply passionate about helping students grow, explore, and achieve their goals. Kirstin creates a classroom environment where learning is fun, meaningful, and hands-on. She has a gift for making math and science relevant to everyday life, building strong relationships with her students, and encouraging them to follow their individual interests and curiosities. “Miss Kirstin” specializes in working with neurodiverse learners and supporting students who experience anxiety, creating a safe and empowering space where every child can thrive.
Ms. Sarah Mayrose Davis

Sarah is a dedicated educator with 18 years of classroom experience. She takes a student-centered approach to teaching, emphasizing project-based learning over traditional assessments to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences. Sarah’s greatest strength lies in her ability to genuinely connect with her students, taking the time to understand each child as an individual. She carefully selects engaging texts and materials, bringing literature to life in a way that sparks curiosity and a love of reading. She also specializes in writing instruction, using a hands-on approach to help students develop confidence and skill as writers. Her vision for the microschool is to create a personalized learning experience for each child, tailored to their unique personality, interests, and family goals. She is excited to partner with families and looks forward to working with your child.
